MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed free-agent forward Anthony Tolliver.
The team made the official announcement on Monday, three days after Tolliver put a video on YouTube saying he chose the Timberwolves over the Golden State Warriors in a spoof of LeBron James' "The Decision."
The 25-year-old Tolliver averaged 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in 44 games for the Warriors last season. Wolves president David Kahn said in a statement that Tolliver is "a talented and versatile player who will fit nicely with the young team we're assembling."
The team did not disclose the terms of the deal. A person with knowledge of the contract told The Associated Press last week that it's a two-year deal worth about $4.5 million guaranteed.
